From the south of France, a village of Aveyron gave its name to this cheese: Roquefort-sur-Soulzon . A unique and distinctive sheep milk bleu cheese. This exceptional Roquefort Papillon is characterised initially by its white paste and the generous streaks of intense blue in its broad and numerous cavities. In the mouth, its rich melting texture develops a delicious balanced and long-lasting tasteRoquefort can be served as simply as a delicacy accompanied by a good slice of rye or sourdough bread . Pair with sweet wines Sauternes or other dessert wines. Roquefort was the fisrt French cheese to be granted AOC status in 1926 and is made by only 7 producers .
