This is a pressed cheese with holes, unique with its attractive orange coating like toasted wheat, and generous wavy round shape. During its prolonged maturing stage ,it develops a tender, melting texture and a good fruity taste.
 

 

SOIGNON BUCHETTE CHEVRE PLAIN 110G

This mini log is a 100% pasteurised goat's milk cheese with no rind , melt-in-the-mouth texture and a light, fresh flavour. It is excellent to spread on crackers or bread,easy to grill and is ideal for mousses or quiches.

Pair with white, red or rosé wines that are young, fresh, unoaked and lightly chilled, particularily delicious with Sancerre from the Loire Valley.

This cheese is ladled into cylindrical moulds, then rolled in ash and is ripened for a minimum of 11 days during which it is turned regularly. This Sainte-Maure-styled cheese has a delicate, bloom covered rind and a firm, smooth texture.

Basically any wine - white, red or rosé - that’s young, fresh, unoaked and lightly chilled will go with goats cheese.

Crottin de Chèvre Germain is a moulded goat cheese made from pasteurized milk and matured in the Berry region. Under its fine, white rind hides a firm and slightly crumbly texture with a delicate taste. Delicious!
 
The word Crottin comes from an oil lamp used by winegrowers from the centre of France, the cheese has the form of the lamp's mould.
 

 

CROTTIN CHAVIGNOL AOC 60G

The most famous cheese of the Loire Valley is produced since the 16th century in the village of Chavignol, near Sancerre. The Chavignol has a natural rind which ranges from pale ivory to almost black. It is one of those rarest cheeses that can be eaten at various stages of its maturity.

Crottin de Chavignol is excellent as part of a cheeseboard and also fabulous when grilled and served warm on a salad as a starter. Serve alongside a floral Sancerre to play up the sweet, clean finish of the cheese.

VALENCAY PETIT AOP JACQUIN 110G

Its blue -grey colour comes from a wood ash coating that protects the cheese. On the nose, it reveals lactic smells, accompanied by floral and vegetables nuances with age. The texture evolves, commencing soft and melting later becoming firmer or chalky with age.

Vacuum packed to prevent them from drying out; the log will keep, in optimum

This firm cheese is made form 100% goat’s milk. It has a gentle sweet taste, with a wonderful, slightly crumbly texture in the centre. Tastier than the rind less log, it’s a delicious cheese, with an interesting tang.
